Stir-fried pork belly with scallions

How to make stir-fried pork belly with scallions

Prepare the ingredients: Slice the pork belly (skin removed), cut the scallions diagonally, and mince the garlic.

Put the pork belly in the pan and fry until the oil renders and it turns golden brown. If there’s too much oil, you can pour some out.

Pour a splash of cooking wine around the edges of the pan and stir-fry the minced garlic until fragrant.

Add half of the scallions and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, half a tablespoon of dark soy sauce, a pinch of sugar and MSG. Stir everything until well combined.

Add the remaining scallions and keep stir-frying. Adding them in two batches gives the dish a more layered flavor.

Plating complete.

Ingredients:
250g pork belly
1 scallion
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
a pinch of sugar
a pinch of chicken bouillon powder
a splash of cooking wine
