How to make stir-fried garlic shoots with minced meat

Ingredients:
1 pound of garlic shoots
200 grams of minced meat
3/4 bird’s eye chilies
2 scallions
half a clove of garlic

Wash the garlic sprouts and cut them into small pieces. Mince the pork using a meat grinder, but not too finely—a little texture makes it tastier. Add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.

In a small bowl, combine a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and an appropriate amount of water. Stir well to dissolve and set aside.

Stir-fry ginger and minced garlic together

Add the ground pork and stir-fry until it changes color. Continue cooking for a bit longer to develop a rich, caramelized aroma.

Pour the prepared sauce and gravy over the top.

Cook until thickened, then serve.

Heat oil in a separate pan. Add the garlic sprouts and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes. For a softer texture, extend the cooking time slightly.

Add some millet peppers for extra umami and a touch of heat. (Omit if you prefer a milder taste.)

Stir-fry until thickened, then remove from heat.
