Detailed process of stewing beef with tomatoes and potatoes

Prepare the ingredients: Wash and chop all the main ingredients.

Cut the scallions and green onions into sections, and slice the ginger into small pieces.

Put the beef into a pot of cold water. After it comes to a boil, take the beef out, rinse it clean, and drain it. Set aside.

Heat an appropriate amount of oil until it reaches 50% heat. Add the scallion segments and ginger slices, and stir-fry until fragrant.

Put the beef into the pan and stir-fry over high heat until it changes color.

Add an appropriate amount of light soy sauce and cooking wine, then stir-fry evenly.

Add tomatoes and stir well.

Add water, put in the star anise and bay leaves, and bring to a boil over high heat. Then turn to medium-low heat and simmer for 40-50 minutes.

Add potato chunks and continue simmering for 15-20 minutes.

Add an appropriate amount of salt and chicken bouillon, then sprinkle with small scallion segments. Serve.
